Information logistics provider , based in Leonberg, Germany, has unveiled a new software product that will enhance the processing of customer and vendor data. The caatoosee iq-server for SAP® CAM is designed to help companies deploying SAP R/3 systems and mySAP.com solutions to cleanse their address data and streamline Central Address Management processes. Thanks to its error-tolerant search functionality, the software finds the required address even if the search query is misspelled or incomplete. In addition, the caatoosee iq-server for SAP® CAM helps companies maintain consistently high levels of data quality by identifying duplicate addresses and spotting possible new duplicates from the moment the data is entered. Sales employees thus work with greater speed and accuracy, boosting the efficiency of customer care as a whole.

The new software integrates seamlessly with the Central Address Management (CAM) component of mySAP.com and SAP R/3 via an SAP-certified interface. Since minimal customizing is required, the iq-server for SAP® CAM can be up and running in no time. Users simply continue working in their usual environment.

The caatoosee software eliminates the problems created by inverted letters and numbers, the use of abbreviations, and even errors communicated phonetically. Employees in the call center, field sales force and Central Address Management alike can quickly find the information they are looking for, even if they make input mistakes. To make this all possible, the caatoosee iq-server leverages an innovative pattern-matching method, which involves searching for similarities in the patterns of data records. It is a sure-fire way of identifying duplicates. Errors, whether in the data record or search query, are no longer an obstacle to locating the precise information you need.

Special tools are also available for identifying duplicates in batch mode when importing data from non-SAP systems. This method is ideal for migrating larger data volumes.

Two license models are available, providing financing options to suit the needs and preferences of every enterprise. The license value can be defined either on a per seat basis (SAP workstations) or based on the number of processors on which the software is installed. Licensed customers include TÜV NORD GRUPPE and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
