and IBM Deutschland GmbH have concluded a vendor agreement: the Leonberg-based specialist in information logistics is now an official "Independent Software Vendor" (ISV) for IBM. The existing cooperation between both companies with the IBM softwareareas of Lotus, WebSphere and DB2 has thus been extended. In addition to its software application for so-called information qualification, iq-server, caatoosee will now also be offering its customers products developed by IBM. In turn, in caatoosee IBM Germany has found a partner whose iq-server product offering ideally complements and extends IBM's portfolio within the area of Business Intelligence. On the basis of this comprehensive offering, customers of both companies will be able to utilize cutting-edge solutions for information qualification fully integratable into existing IBM hardware and software environments.

One of the deciding factors in connection with the new partnership was caatoosee's proven track record when it comes to integrating IBM software such as Lotus, WebSphere and DB2, as well as the new technical capabilities of the iq-server. A key feature of caatoosee's innovative software application is its multifunctional design. This includes data cleansing, search capabilities, similarity matches and automated information management. With the help of automated information e-mails, for instance, can be sorted according to their content and automatically distributed to the appropriate member of staff. Another advantage is that caatoosee's iq-server is able to process both structured and unstructured data.

As part of the cooperation, caatoosee as ISV will mainly be targeting large and medium-sized enterprises. In the majority of cases IBM hardware and software is already available as a platform. The extended partnership agreement will allow IBM to offer its customers a complete solution, right up to integration and operation via IBM Global Services.
