Leonberg, 11 July 2002
SAP has acquired a licence for the group-wide use of cutting-edge iq-server software developed by the information logistics specialists , Leonberg (Germany). The software designed for so-called information qualification will be responsible for SAP's global data-cleansing activities within the company's Customer Relationship Management system based on mySAP CRM. caatoosee's iq-server was chosen after rigorous testing, which had revealed the software's outstanding stability and user-friendly functionality.
Reliable quality of stored data and fast access to information are essential prerequisites if one is to attain long-term commercial success and customer satisfaction. SAP's decision to use the caatoosee iq-server throughout the group attests to the importance of these fundamental aspects within the company. The software in question is designed to deliver permanent duplicate cleansing and address validation, thus providing SAP with faster and more efficient customer service capabilities.
Guido Alt, caatoosee's Chairman, described the order placed by SAP as "a tribute to our innovative technology". "SAP's decision to opt for our iq-server has placed them in a position in which they can take advantage of a highly flexible platform for the optimisation of information processes. Thus, information qualification is turned into a strategic advantage," said Alt. As part of the ongoing partnership, caatoosee's iq-server is designed to be SAP-certified and marketed within SAP's customer base.

iq-server iq stands for "information qualification" provides a platform allowing enterprises to achieve four objectives at the same time. Firstly, caatoosee's iq-server saves time and money by means of state-of-the-art data cleansing. Secondly, based on the user's requirements, it is able to distinguish between important and irrelevant information contained in structured or unstructured data repositories. Moreover, the application detects content-related similarities between various transactions. This can be used in a host of applications, e.g. in order to compare separate orders within the purchasing department, with the express purpose of pooling orders of a similar nature to secure cost advantages. Finally, caatoosee's iq-server is capable of "automating" information. Among other things, e-mail can be sorted by subject and distributed directly to the relevant department for further processing.
